Q. What service options are there?
 
A. Parkwood currently has 3 services you can participate in on Sunday morning. We have an Ethiopian Church that meets in our E Building. We have a Traditional church service that meets in our main sanctuary. We also have a Missional Gathering that meets in our Fellowship Hall. All 3 services are designed to enable all those who attend to worship God. 
 
Q. Is childcare provided?

A. Yes!  We offer childcare for babies through 3 years old. Currently we are attempting to create a family friendly environment in our services. Our Missional Gathering offers larger seating area and activities for children while in the service. Our goal is to create a service that the whole family can participate in and worship God.

Q. Where are you located?

A. Parkwood  Baptist  Churchis located at 7900 Lone Star Rd. in the heart of Jacksonville.  We are just minutes from Arlington Expressway and 9-A.
 
 

Parkwood is a neighborhood church that is committed to reaching Arlington for Jesus.  That means we are a church as diverse as the neighborhood we live in.  Our church accepts and appreciates people of all economic backgrounds, education levels, ages, and ethnicities.  Rather than let those distinctions divide us we celebrate our differences in Jesus Christ. 

At Parkwood you will find a place to receive encouragement, a family that will accept you with open arms, and a place where you can grow in the Lord.  At Parkwood Baptist Church No One Stands Alone!

This week we hosted families at Parkwood. The week was smooth and many of you helped to make the families feel at home and loved. Please continue to pray for this ministry and if you would like to get involved, check out the booth in the Atrium before or after the service.
 
 
Honduras Mission Trip
Our church has the opportunity to partner with International Mission Builders to help build a church in a remote village in Honduras. If you are interested see the display in the Atrium or contact the church office for more information.
